CUMULATIVE PTSD IS DANGEROUS DUE TO THE REOCCURRING OF TRAUMATIC INCIDENTS AND THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS GOING UNNOTICED AND NOT DEALT WITH BY OFFICERS AND THEIR SUPERIORS, FRIENDS, AND FAMILIES. THESE SPECIFIC INCIDENTS LEAD FIRST RESPONDERS TAKING THEIR OWN LIVES OR SLOWLY DESTROYING THEIR HOME/PERSONAL LIVES.

RECENT STUDIES

OF OFFICERS WHO SUFFER FROM CUMULATIVE PTSD/STRESS PROVE THAT THOSE THAT RECEIVE TREATMENT EXPERIENCE REMISSION AND CEASE HAVING FURTHER TREATMENT. CONVERSELY OF THIS STUDY SHOWED FIRST RESPONDERS WHO ONLY RECEIVED MEDICATION FOR THEIR SYMPTOMS STILL HAD EFFECTS OF PTSD AND DID NOT HAVE ANY RELIEF FROM THEIR PTSD.

IT IS OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR FELLOW FIRST RESPONDERS TO ENSURE THEY ARE RECEIVING THE HELP THEY NEED AND ARE DESPERATELY SEEKING. IT IS OUR COMMITMENT TO BREED HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, AND A SENSE OF A BETTER AND PRODUCTIVE FUTURE.
